Course Description

This is a hands on course, located in Tucson, AZ. Students attending this course will learn how to properly install and service LiftMaster gate operators.

Learn to use reference materials to independently and quickly get answers to questions

Connect various gate operators in tandem operation configurations

 

Course Format

Each participant will receive a comprehensive manual that includes a glossary of terms, references for additional reading, and copies of relevant handouts, standards, and regulations.

Day one is dedicated to common applications, operator types, safety standards, and operator installation.

Day two is dedicated to electrical theory, troubleshooting theory, component testing and diagnostics

Day three is dedicated to advanced applications such as tandem operation and sequence access management

Day four is dedicated to testing.The unit material is reinforced by a 40 question written test and practical exam. To receive a certificate of completion and CEU’s you must attend all 30 hours of the course and attain a 60% or better score on the exam.
